What are good laptops/notebooks for students?
I want to get a laptop and I was wondering which ones under $1,000 are good for a student? I won’t be gaming or downloading a ton of videos. I also don’t want a laptop bigger than a 15 inch screen. Could you please help me?

I highly recommend this laptop because it is very portable and it has enough power to handle multi tasking. This model is also well inside your budget.
You should get the Acer Aspire One. It has a 10.1 inch screen and 160gb of hard drive space. There are a lot of students at my medical school that are using one to take to class and take notes.
The best thing about this particular book is the price – less than $400.
